Belfast
County Antrim

This is the great seat of the Irish linen trade, and the capital of Ulster, in Antrim county, at the mouth of the Lagan.
Holywood, or Hollywood, is a pretty bathing place on the Lough, 5 miles from Belfast, where the Irish Presbyterians signed the Solemn League and Covenant, 1644. The church is on the site of a priory, from which the name of the place is derived.
